PREWORD
Praise with gratitude the presence of the Almighty God for His grace and gifts, so that the paper on the “Execution of the Oath of Youth” can be well completed. The paper was conceived as one of the efforts to understand and live out the meaning of the Youth Oath which is commemorated annually on October 28. Hopefully this paper can provide information and knowledge about the Youth Oath, as well as be an inspiration for the younger generation to build nations and states.

CHAPTER I: INTRODUCTION
The Pemuda Pemuda was an important event in Indonesian history that occurred on October 28, 1928. This event became an early milestone for the unity and unity of the Indonesian nation after a long period of colonization by the Dutch.
CHAPTER II: THE HISTORY OF YOUTH SWEARINGS
The Second Youth Congress was held on 27-28 October 1928 in Batavia (now Jakarta). The forum was chaired by Sugondo Joyopuspito of the Indonesian Student-Student Association (PPPI). At the closing meeting, Mohammad Yamin recited the text of the Youth Oath which reads:

  3. We sons and princesses of Indonesia uphold the language of unity, the Indonesian language.

The Youth Oath has an important meaning for the Indonesian nation, namely:
  • Uniting the Struggle of the Indonesian Nations
    : The Youth Oath became the starting point of the youths' struggle to achieve Indonesian independence.
  • Encouraging the Fighting Spirit of the Young Generation
    : The Spirit of the Youth Oath can be an example for today's young generation to take steps and do something for the Indonesian nation.
CHAPTER IV: THE ROLE OF YOUTH'S SWEARING
The roles of the Youth Oath include:
  • Growing the Unity of the Nation
    : The Youth Oath encourages the growth of the unity of the nation and the use of Indonesian as the language of unity.
  • Encouraging the National Movement
    : The Youth Oath has energized nationhood for the Indonesian nation and sparked a national movement.
CHAPTER V: EXECUTION OF YOUTH OATHS
The Youth Oath Memorial is held annually on October 28. Activities conducted include flag ceremonies, seminars, and discussions on the Youth Oath.
CHAPTER VI: CONCLUSION
Pemuda Pemuda is an important event in the history of Indonesia that became an early milestone for the unity and unity of the nation. The Youth Oath has important significance for the Indonesian nation and plays a role in fostering the unity of the nation and encouraging the national movement.
